Langton Castle is a place of luxury and historic charm. Every original feature of the castle was preserved and can still be enjoyed. It was built in 1785 and incorporates the walls from an older castle. The castle is located at the end a private 500-yard drive, in an area of lushly maintained grass parks and woodlands with distant views to Cheviot hills. It is completely rural so you can have your wedding in complete privacy.
The castle’s covered porch is where you will find the stone-flagged staircase hall. Twin stone staircases make for a dramatic entrance. The dining room has a twenty-four-seat oak table. You can host a wedding feast for up to 50 people in this room, which is lit by candles and surrounded by a log fire. The ballroom is traditionally used for wedding ceremonies. It has two large crystal chandeliers. If necessary, the room can also be transformed to host 92 guests.
Although the castle can sleep up to 26 guests for a wedding, the castle also has four cottages that could accommodate up to 42 people.

Argyll house has been called “probably the most party house in Scotland.” It is the perfect place to celebrate the biggest day of your lives. Although it doesn’t have the same grandiose or intimidating atmosphere as a castle or stately home, it is a comfortable and welcoming place to call home. The main house is situated in the middle of 20 acres of wooded land with beautiful views up the mountain and across the glen. A river runs through the grounds 100 yards away. The dining hall can seat 28 people in comfort and style.
The property can host ceremonies and celebrations for anywhere from 12 to 200 people, regardless of whether it is the house or the Mill and Bard nearby. The house can host up to 66 people for a wedding party. Larger functions should be held in a marquee or yurt.
Kilmodan Church, located just a few miles from the venue, is an idyllic setting for those who want a religious ceremony in a traditional setting. However, Scottish law allows the minister of religion to conduct ceremonies wherever he wishes.
You can host your nuptials at the Att Turret House in a traditional baronial-style country home with rich and elaborate decoration. This estate offers elegant settings for celebrations in elegant surroundings with all the luxury and comfort that you would expect from a stately home.
It was a country hotel, so it is well-suited for large groups who demand the best. The beautiful grounds are alive with spring flowers and the horse-drawn carriages will make for a stunning backdrop for photos.
After a long night of dancing and champagne, the House can sleep up to 24 wedding guests.
Another stunning venue is the Fortalice, which offers a unique setting for couples looking to marry in richly historic surroundings. The original 1560 construction of the fort was destroyed by the Dukes of Argyll in 1640. It has been meticulously restored and modernized by its current owner. The property is set against the stunning backdrop of rugged Perthshire countryside.
The Fortalice’s Great Hall is highlighted by a large log fireplace and beautiful hand-painted ceilings. This space is ideal for intimate weddings and has a unique chapel on its ground floor.
