This is the most vibrant option in both the Aputure Light Storm and Light Storm ranges. The Light Storm was unveiled at Cine Gear 2021 and promises a variety of exciting features for creators. It features a 1200W Daylight COB chipet that puts it in line with other HMI Lights. It boasts an amazing 83,100+ lumen output at three meters distance when combined with the 15-degree Hyper Reflector.

The Aputure Light Storm 1200d Pro light fixture is more than a new fixture. It has a 1200W COB, up to 83.100 lux, and can be seen up to three metres away. It is the most powerful light fixture in Aputure’s Light Storm series. It’s also the industry’s most powerful Bowens mount light fixture. This professional-level light is capable of working with a wide range of Bowens modifiers. The light also includes three Bowens mount hyper-reflectors that can be used with narrow, medium and wide beam angles. This high-quality light fixture can bring a variety of lighting options to your set. These are its key features:

For maximum versatility on-set, the Light Storm 1200d Pro includes three Hyper Reflectors. According to No Film School, the narrow Hyper Reflector offers 83,100 Lux at three meters and the medium Hyper Reflector boasts 22,400 lux at three meters. The wide Hyper Reflector boasts 9,610 Lux at three meters.

The Light Storm 1200d Pro doesn’t just offer pro-quality. The Light Storm 1200d Pro also includes a variety of professional controls that were designed with lighting professionals in mind. It uses an etherCON connector, Lumenradio CRMX and sACN. It also features extremely responsive on-board controls. It is also compatible with Sidus Link app, so you can control Light Storm 1200d Pro from your smartphone or tablet. The app can be used up to 400m away and links with other products, such as the Nova P600c.

A new control panel design

The new control box design for the Light Storm 1200d pro will delight creators. It included DMX512 input and output ports, an etherCON connector as well as two 48V/15A three pin XLR inputs. There is also an AC input. These features are located on the side. The purposeful orientation was designed to minimize potential damage and ensure flexibility. The control box can be placed on its side or upright. You also get two lightning clamps to arrange light stands.
