The Colosseum’s new underground network of tunnels

Visitors to Rome will have the opportunity to explore the underground tunnels of the Colosseum for the first time. Visitors to Rome will be able to take a tour through the tunnels that were previously closed to the public. They can also explore the network of historical passageways which offer a closer look into the capital’s past.

The secret underground world, also known as the Hypogeum of Colosseum, contained vaulted passageways and underground chambers where gladiators and other wild animals could be found. You can access the Full Experience Colosseum ticket to gain entry to this experience, which opened its doors on 26 June.

Pompeii’s historical museum reopens with brand new artifacts

After undergoing a complete refurbishment, the Antiquarian of Pompeii was reopened as an museum.

The museum, which was recently reopened, will feature new exhibits on ancient Pompeii’s treasures and frescoes. It will also display digital service devices and audio narration.

MArTA Museum, Taranto, Puglia

The MArTA Museum in Taranto was officially reopened on May 9th.

The displays range from Prehistory to the Ricciardi Collection, and the array of ancient artifacts on display is almost endless.

From September 1st through the 11th, the 78th Venice International Film Festival takes place.

Piedmont Cheese Festival, Bra

The Cheese Festival is held every two years by the Slow Food Movement in Bra, and the City of Bra from 17 to 20 September.

This year’s theme “Consider the Animals”, which pays tribute the living creatures that make festival cheese possible.

Verdi Opera Festival in Parma

Teatro Regio di Parma is hosting the Verdi Opera Festival again this year, from September 24th through October 17th.
