Canon Introduces New PTZ Cameras for Streaming and Recording: CR-N500 and CR-N300

Canon today announced two new pan-tilt zoom (PTZ), cameras, the CR–N500 and CR–N300. These PTZ cameras are perfect for all types of businesses: from corporate offices to schools and churches to event companies, they make streaming and recording easy.

The powerful CR-N500 offers 4K UHD with amazing image quality and a 15x optical zoom to allow for greater versatility. Canon’s CR-N300 is another powerful PTZ camera. It features a 4K sensor at 30p and full HD at 60p. The 20x optical zoom ratio ensures high precision throughout the zoom range. The CR-N500 as well as CR-N300 offer smooth, flawless on-air tilt and pan movements. This gives viewers an unforgettable experience. The RC-IP100 Remote Camera Control, which can control up to 100 Canon-supported cameras makes using these PTZ cameras a breeze.

CR–N500 Key Features

Canon’s CR500 has a 4K CMOS sensor, DIGIC DV6 image processor and is a game changer for institutions and businesses looking to stream or record their content. The CR-N500 can deliver your message in 4K (30p) and Full HD (60P), regardless of whether it is a church streaming Sunday mass, or a business livestreaming the state of its company.

Dual Pixel CMOS AF allows the CR-N500 to track faces and detect them. This ensures subjects stay sharply focused. The camera features a 15x optical zoom, 4K UHD lens, and a wide angle (73 degrees). The variable tilt and pan speed of the camera is between.1deg and 100deg/second. The CR-N500 is one-person capable of operating multiple cameras with IP Multi-Stream Support. It also includes a wireless remote control.

CR–N300 Key Features

The Canon CR-N300 is similar to the CR-N500. It has a powerful 4K CMOS camera with a DIGIC DV6 image processor. The CR-N300 can also be used with a Canon lens, which has a 20x optical Zoom ratio. This ensures high precision and immersive viewing. It captures all the action with its wide angle of 65.6°.

The CR-N300 supports IP Multi-Stream, multiple interfaces such as an HDMI or 3.5mm mini jack. It also allows for one-person operation with multiple cameras. Whether you choose the CR–N300 or CR–N500, there are no options for organizations when streaming your content.

Canon’s PTZ announcement is complete with the Canon RCIP100 Remote Camera Control. This handy gadget allows IP control of up to 99 cameras, including the new CR–N500 and CR–N300. It includes a 7-inch interactive touch screen with joystick and a joystick that allows for precise panning, tilting and zooming as well as changing picture settings immediately.
