When in doubt, wear black. Our favorite color (or lack thereof) is a closet necessity. It looks effortless and is the easiest monochrome look to achieve. With Halloween approaching, we teamed up with Kayla Watkins to highlight three ways to sport fashion’s chicest hue—that are anything but spooky.
“This look is a mix of feminine and badass—that works for both day and night (hint: just change the lip color). I balanced out the girly bun and long dress with this amazing suede Stitch Fix moto jacket and leather booties. The moto jacket deserves all of the attention, so I kept it simple with accessories.”
“My go-to uniform for weekends in fall: this chunky Stitch Fix sweater, paired with leggings. It flatters my body shape (weird upper half, long bottom half), and make me the most comfortable in my own skin. Not to mention this look can be altered a million ways. Accessories like scarves and over the knee boots can completely change it.”
“These Stitch Fix jogger pants are like straight-up pajamas, so in keeping with the comfort theme, I paired them with a tank and tennis shoes. In order to be able to wear it outside of my living room, I added a bandanna, tied in a triangle around my neck, sunnies and a leather jacket. This outfit could work for any day outing and could even carry you to the sports bar after work.”
